The positivity in you has the ability to transcend any negative thought you might be ruminating on. Insecurity is simply a belief that you’re not safe or good enough. You are more than enough just as you are! Live with your awareness and not with your conceptual mind because nothing is ever good enough there. ✨🌞January soul food🌞✨

In light of comparison culture being so rife an all that, these images feature only highlights because strangely I didn’t take pictures the morning I fell off a rock and face planted mud at low tide, (when I was all smart for a day of meetings) or the bit where I fell off a swing when I was trying to be majestic on it and then got hit on the head by it shortly afterwards. I also didn’t feature the part where my trolley got stuck at the end of a flat escalator and I rolled head first into it on top of my shopping. I didn’t take pictures of my very bad attempts at defrosting my car when I was late for things at unearthly hours, and my attempts at doing any baking or DIY would send a lot of you over the edge. So I’m thanking the flipping Universe for Mother Nature on her good days, for Icey wild swims, for amazing homosapien earthlings 👆🏼for dogs, for nature’s glitter (frost on grass) for winter sunsets and sunrises, for Brent Geese on their winter holidays, for long cuddles, big smiles, victory arms, sparked up finger tips, and for Bunty’s brew with a view of course! ✨🌞💙

✨GoodMove ✨In peak January blues season, turn down the volume on that internal soundtrack that’ll constantly tell you that you ‘should’ be doing something else, trying something else, essentially being someone else. An appetite for self-improvement is admirable and needed to make the world go around, but after two years of feeling like we’re living in the most monotonous episode of Black Mirror, we need to give ourselves a break. Be inspired by our shared existence and humanity, that’s the driving force behind motivation, and move in a way that makes you feel free. Free from restrictions, free from societal pressure, free from limiting beliefs. GoodMove helps me move to let go of stagnant energy that accumulates in the body as a result of these crazy times, because it spans through all levels of activity. ✨Swipe to see how I actually feel about talking about the potential pandemic positives of 2021🤷‍♀️👉🏼 😂 LOL. BUT HAPPY NYE ALL THE SAME LEGENDS! 💫 I ‘sat down’ with the very gorge people @graziauk last week… As a fellow journalist, I give huge credit to anyone who has the patience to interview and transcribe anything that comes out of my mouth. You deserve a medal. 💫HAPPY SUMMER SOLTICE! HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY! I’m not hot on ‘international days’ but this ones a bit different. Yoga gets us slipping into that gap in between stimulus and response so that we don’t all fall into that robotic, weird, avatar humanoid category, and we show up for ourselves and everyone around us in the best way we possibly can! WERD! That’s what Yoga is for me…(it’s not about attempting to look like we’re all in Cirque du Soliel although I reckon I’ve probs been guilty of that on countless occasions 🤷‍♀️😂🤦🏽‍♀️.)

Yoga has kept me smiling (albeit slightly manically) through some of the most challenging times I didn’t know I’d ever have to face, and it’s given me the opportunity to make other people smile right back at me! (Most likely because they’re laughing at my mid-class impromptu dance moves) but it makes me happy all the same. Thank you Yoga, thank you teachers, thank you students and thank you FOR THE BIG BIG SMILES AND THE COMMUNITY IT BRINGS 💫

TIME TO FLY! YOGA FOR PHYSICAL STRENGTH AND BRAIN GAIN! 💫💫💪I’m teaching a flow with @fatface this week to help promote co-ordination, balance, strength and focus (because lord knows we all need it now the world’s opening up again.) The brain is the main overseer of balance in the body, so working through postures that simultaneously root us down to the ground to rise us up, promotes greater neuroplasticity, offering pretty potent benefits to our lives once we’re off the mat. 💫I’ve joined the @rahuabeauty family and I WAS NOT TAKING MYSELF SERIOUSLY IN THIS PHOTO😐 (disclaimer) *ahem Rainforest grown beauty and supporting the indigenous people of the Amazon and following their lead is something I’ve been passionate about as a journalist for almost a decade now, (hence running the around jungles like a nutter) So I’m very happy to be writing for the amazing people @rahuabeauty 💫💙Translating the Amazonian way of living to the western world somehow is something I’ve been trying to navigate for years, so this month I’ve penned everything you need to know from my studies as an Integrative health coach (and Amazonian oil fan girl) about why us homosapien earthlings, especially in the western world, are giving away our power far too easily.
