In light of comparison culture being so rife an all that, these images feature only highlights because strangely I didn’t take pictures the morning I fell off a rock and face planted mud at low tide, (when I was all smart for a day of meetings) or the bit where I fell off a swing when I was trying to be majestic on it and then got hit on the head by it shortly afterwards. I also didn’t feature the part where my trolley got stuck at the end of a flat escalator and I rolled head first into it on top of my shopping. I didn’t take pictures of my very bad attempts at defrosting my car when I was late for things at unearthly hours, and my attempts at doing any baking or DIY would send a lot of you over the edge. So I’m thanking the flipping Universe for Mother Nature on her good days, for Icey wild swims, for amazing homosapien earthlings 👆🏼for dogs, for nature’s glitter (frost on grass) for winter sunsets and sunrises, for Brent Geese on their winter holidays, for long cuddles, big smiles, victory arms, sparked up finger tips, and for Bunty’s brew with a view of course! ✨🌞💙

💫I bought my very own home on the sea where I grew up💙 and whilst the process of buying nearly cost me my sanity, a mere six months down the line, a few thousand aggy phone calls and all my life savings later I’m finally a sea side home owner, hence the slightly manic spring in my step. I LOVE YOU HOME! 💙
💫HAPPY SUMMER SOLTICE! HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY! I’m not hot on ‘international days’ but this ones a bit different. Yoga gets us slipping into that gap in between stimulus and response so that we don’t all fall into that robotic, weird, avatar humanoid category, and we show up for ourselves and everyone around us in the best way we possibly can! WERD! That’s what Yoga is for me…(it’s not about attempting to look like we’re all in Cirque du Soliel although I reckon I’ve probs been guilty of that on countless occasions 🤷♀️😂🤦🏽♀️.)
Yoga has kept me smiling (albeit slightly manically) through some of the most challenging times I didn’t know I’d ever have to face, and it’s given me the opportunity to make other people smile right back at me! (Most likely because they’re laughing at my mid-class impromptu dance moves) but it makes me happy all the same. Thank you Yoga, thank you teachers, thank you students and thank you FOR THE BIG BIG SMILES AND THE COMMUNITY IT BRINGS 💫
